You keep seeing the term "Virtual Assistant" or people mention their "VA is amazing" or suggest "you should hire a Virtual Assistant" - yet you're still wondering, "What is a Virtual Assistant?"

A Virtual Assistant (VA) is a highly skilled, independent professional who usually works remotely (not always though!) to provide ad-hoc and/or regular ongoing admin support to SME’s, consultants, freelancers, start-ups, entrepreneurs... Anyone who needs support with the day to day running of their business.

With time being one of the most valuable things in life (we all say it, don't we?), business owners and individuals outsource tasks they never have the time to complete, they don't like doing or quite simply would prefer someone else to do.
