...is one you’ll actually stick to!

Real talk peeps!

The perfect social media plan doesn’t exist.

BUT. The best one? It’s the one you can actually keep up with – even if it doesn’t match what the 'influencers' or 'gurus' tell you to do.

Here’s how to make that happen:-

★ Start with your why

Forget the fancy hashtags for a minute. Why are you even on social media? Is it to connect, build authority, or get some hot leads sliding into your DMs? Write down your goal and let it steer the ship.

Social media is a tool, not a popularity contest. It’s not about chasing likes or doing what everyone else is doing – it’s about showing up for your audience in a way that supports your big picture.

★ Know your limits (and embrace them)

How much time do you actually have for this? Be real with yourself – trying to do too much is the fastest road to burnout (and this is something I've mentioned many times). So, block out time that works for you and stick to it, but don’t be afraid to adjust as life happens. Because life does happen!

★ Purpose over perfection

Nobody’s scrolling through social media looking for the perfect post. And if they are - well they have too much time on their hands! So stop stressing about flawless graphics and “hack-the-algorithm” tactics. Focus on creating posts that people actually care about. Share tips, stories, a cheeky laugh – whatever adds value.

★ Own YOUR voice

Stop trying to fit into someone else’s box! Your uniqueness is your superpower, so let your personality shine. People want to connect with you, not a carbon copy of every other business out there. Be real, be raw (or if you're a dinosaur, be rawr rawr!), be... you.

★ Consistency is key!

You don’t need to post every day. In fact, don’t. But showing up regularly? That’s where the magic happens. Pick a schedule that feels sustainable, and stick to it. It’s the consistency that builds trust, not a frantic posting spree.

★ Give yourself a break!

Social media is a marathon, not a sprint. Stop chasing perfection. Celebrate your progress, even if it’s just posting that one story when you really didn’t feel like it. (Literally me, today!) Learn, grow, and – most importantly – don’t forget to take care of you.

The bottom line?

The only social media plan that works is the one you can keep up with. Align your posts with your goals, show up consistently (even if it’s just once a week!), and most importantly, stay true to you whilst having some fun!

Let’s make social media work for you, without the burnout.

Now... go get ‘em!
